Syd has nailed his 96th Treatise to the church door: Syd Rules!

Pre-Registration Closed and Cancelled Events

AON has been closed for pre-registration since Sunday night. There are still spaces to play in many events, but to sign up attendees must come to the convention site and see what is on offer.

Unfortunately, since the closure of registration, James Coughlan has cancelled Escape Pod Omega, and James Wright has cancelled the Thursday and Friday sessions of In Contemnerint Deorum. We hope those players signed up for these events and sessions will be able to find alternative events at the convention.

Post-Con Venue Confirmed

We are now happy to announce that the venue for the Post-Con Dinner and Drinks will be the British Crown Hotel. After four days of gaming, the party (and the anecdotes) are just beginning, so join us there after the prize-giving.

Only One Week To Go

It's only a week (as of this update on Thursday, January 12) until the convention, which means there's only a couple more days before pre-registration closes. Get in now, or face the dreaded rego desk queue!

The ArcanAuction Is Back

For the fifth time, Arcanacon's second-hand auction will sell off your geeky, gamery items for cold hard cash. See the ArcanAuction event page for details on how to de-clutter your game-filled house.

New Rules For Young Attendees

In order to better ensure the safety and wellbeing of young players attending Arcanacon, the organisers have clarified and expanded the rules for attendees under the age of 18. If you are a younger gamer or the parent of a younger gamer, we recommend you read the new rules for young attendees.

Security at the Convention Site

Due to issues with security at the convention in previous years, we advise that attendees familiarise themselves with the organisers' advice and guidelines for Security at the Convention Site.

Cancellation

Unfortunately, the writer will be unable to present Operation Claw at Arcanacon XXIX. We hope that Nick will be able to present this event at a later convention, and that those players already signed up to play at Arcanacon XXIX will be able to find other events to play instead.
