Warmachine & Hordes: Sunday Steamroller
Organised by Ben Leong
The 2011 Sunday Steamroller will use a modified Steamroller format. Please note that there are only 32 places for this event, due to time restrictions. Games tables from the Saturday tournament will be available on Sunday for players missing out on a spot in this event.
Also note that the top four players from Saturday's tournament will be entered into the Championship Finals, instead of the Sunday Steamroller. This means we're likely to have some slots available on Sunday morning!
This tournament will include the following details:
- Army size:
- 35 points
- Number of lists:
- Up to two lists per player. Both lists must use the same faction, and must include a different Warlock or Warcaster in each list.
- Number of rounds:
- Five rounds will be played.
- Painted models:
- Painted armies are not compulsory, but are strongly encouraged. Where multiple players finish the tournament with equal Tournament Point scores, a player with a fully painted army (or armies, where two lists have been used) will be ranked higher than players with unpainted figures. Further ranking will be done using Strength of Schedule, as normal.
- Extra models:
- Please bring along two additional models or markers, to be used in some scenarios. The first is a Flag (40mm base). The second is an Objective (50mm base). There will be a prize for the best scenario markers.
- Scenarios and rules:
- A player's pack will be posted online by Sunday, January 2nd. Players will be notified via AON (email) and on the WargamerAU forums.
Further information is available in the WargamerAU Arcanacon thread.
