In the grand cathedral-bastions on Holy Terra, the Battle Sisters train relentlessly to fight heresy and chaos wherever it may rise. They are nuns, yes, but nuns with guns. Their daily schedules revolve around prayer, singing praise, shooting practice, weapon maintenance and flagellation.
But even more important, perhaps, is their servitude to the Emperor. The cathedrals must be kept spotless, the stained glass windows polished so you can see your face in them, the napalm boiled to just the right temperature...
So why in the Emperor’s name do heretics keep trying to mess the place up?
