The Beach

Everyone’s stuck in this crappy holiday town where all the families have holidayed for too long, there’s no mobile reception unless you’re with Telstra, there’s no net access and no one has a license, so it’s either bicycle or walking. At least there’s the beach. The guys’ll be heading down there to the Spot, where plans are made to make the interminable summer pass that much quicker.

Jay was down as well, but he had to go back into Melbourne last night, his dad was coming down from Sydney and wanted to spend some time with him before the school holidays ended now that Jay’s parents are talking again after their divorce. It really sucks, as Jay was the only one with an iPhone who could get any reception down here. Now there’s no SMS, no Twitter, no Facebook, no nothing worth doing any more. Except the beach.
