Volunteers Needed!
Arcanacon is looking for a few good men and women to help out with certain things about the convention. Are you capable of handling a pair of tongs? If so, you would be perfect for helping to run the Arcanacon BBQ, which is where we most vitally need volunteers right now. Running only a few times during the convention, helping out will only require one session out of your convention (though if you want to show off your BBQ skills, you can cook for more than one session). If you have a free session that doesn't happen to correspond to the BBQ times, we can still use you in the kitchen, where help is almost as vital.
Email us at orgs@arcanacon.org if you would like to help out.
Mugs For Sale
In addition to the previously-announced tote bags and dice, we now have mugs available for pre-order in AON. These special-edition mugs feature a colour Mayan priest Syd calling down a Syd-meteor to end the world, quite a stunning piece of art. They also come with free tea and coffee for the duration of the convention.
Tote Bags For Sale
This year Arcanacon will be selling tote bags. The bags are large and strong enough to carry several heavy RPG manuals, have a shoulder strap long enough to keep your hands free for rolling your dice, and are emblazoned with Syd and, to mark Arcanacon’s 30th year, the years of the first and most recent Arcanacon.
Those dice you'll be rolling with your free hands? They’ll be the new Syd dice, with white numbers and Syd on velvet red, of course.
Both of these items are currently available for pre-order via AON.

Warmachine & Hordes Australian Masters 2012 Comes to Arcanacon
Arcanacon XXX will be home to the Warmachine & Hordes Australian Masters 2012, thanks to the efforts of Matt Aslin, official Press Ganger and organiser of this year's Warmachine & Hordes events. The Warmachine events at Arcanacon have been very popular the last few years, and with the support of Privateer Press we hope they will be better than ever this year.
