Anima Tactics
By Lachlan Conley
Anima: Tactics is a miniatures skirmish game of heroic fantasy combat, with powerful magic, combat styles, and martial arts unleashed in a fusion of Eastern and Western art, myth, and style.
Small groups of powerful characters do battle in a world that has ended several times in the past and is rapidly heading for another apocalypse. Teams operate openly or clandestinely search for ancient techno-magical artifacts called Lost Loggia, raid enemy territory or fight to further the political and mercurial ambitions of their masters.
The forces you play with are built through the type of soul a character possesses either light, neutral or dark or through various organizations such as the Black Sun, the worlds first mega-corporation who after unearthing the Book of the Dead have gone into the business of fashioning zombie-like abominations to crush all who stand before them or the agents of the Sacred Holy Empire of Abel who work for the child empress Elizabetta in her efforts to reunite the world in a new truely inclusive and free society.
Learning Anima: Tactics is simple but mastering it takes some work. A simple Demonstration takes about 30 minutes to complete so there is plenty of time to come and see what the game is about across the Weekend. Or if you're familiar with the system come and have a game, we will have some space set up and see what's new in the world of Gaia.
This event is a free demonstration, and there is no need to book in advance.
