After a long hiatus, in 2012 Arcanacon sees the return of the Australian Chaosium Masters’ Tournament. With the support and sponsorship of Chaosium Games, Aaron Fenwick will bring us three linked tales of Lovecraftian horror.

This year’s Chaosium Masters’ takes a different form from those from last century (yes, it was that long ago). Expanding beyond the tabletop into other forms of roleplaying that are popular at Arcanacon, the 2012 Australian Chaosium Masters’ consists of one team game, one freeform and one multiform. The differing sizes of the games preclude entering as a complete team for all events, so major event awards will go to individuals rather than teams, but to be eligible for those awards players must play all three events. (Players may enter only one or two of the three events, but will not be eligible for tournament awards.)

The three games are linked but can be played in any order. All three are set in the universe of the Call of Cthulhu RPG and H. P. Lovecraft's stories, but take place in 1922, 1995 and some time into our future.
