Warmachine and Hordes

Miniature / Warmachine and Hordes, Mk II / 32 players / 3 sessions
by Ben Leong

Warmachine and Hordes

  • This tournament will use the Warmachine and Hordes MkII rules, and a set of scenarios based on those from the Steamroller tournament packs.
  • Different scenarios will be used each round, so players will need to bring flexible army lists.
  • All scenarios will include multiple victory conditions (scenario and assassination).
  • Strength of Schedule (the total score of all your opponents) will be used to divide players on equal scores at the end of the event.

Army details

  • Two lists per player
  • Both lists must be from the same faction
  • 50 point armies (including a single Warcaster or Warlock)

Rules

Full text for the Warmachine MkII rules is currently available as a free PDF download from Privateer Press.

The Prime MkII rulebook and decks of stat cards for each faction will be released in January. These are the rules that will be used for Warmachine armies at the tournament.

A field test version of the HORDES MkII rules will be available from November 24th from Privateer Press. These will provide a good indication of what the Hordes MkII rules will look like, for players who want to get some practice in.

A revised HORDES rules document will be released on the Privateer Press website on January 2nd. This document will contain the tournament-legal Hordes army lists to be used until Hordes MkII is released later in the year.
