Arcanacon 40K is Australia's largest independent Warhammer 40,000 competition. Come along for a rockin' good weekend of 40K, death metal and beer!

TOURNAMENT RULES

• Detailed tournament rules are available at 40k.arcanacon.org
• 5th edition Warhammer 40,000 rules
• All miniatures MUST BE PAINTED. Unpainted miniatures CANNOT be fielded.
• Players will fight SIX battles each of 2 hours 15 mins duration, at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm each day on SATURDAY 23 JANUARY and SUNDAY 24 JANUARY.
• If you can provide a 6x4 table of quality terrain, please contact the organiser.
• Entry is restricted to players aged 13 years and older. Younger players are welcome as visitors.

REGISTRATIONS

• There are 150 places. We expect the competition to fill quickly.
• Once the event books out, additional players will be placed on the Reserve List. They will be promoted as players drop out and spaces become available.
• 30 places will be reserved for one week for Five Year Veterans and interstate players.
• Army Rosters MUST be emailed in correct format by midnight on Friday 8 Jan 2010. If you fail to do so, you will be demoted to the bottom of the Reserve List. Reserve players who send their roster will earn a place if one becomes available.
• You must be at the venue and registered by 9:30am sharp on Saturday 23 Jan 2010. Latecomers will forfeit their place. If there are extenuating circumstances, you must contact 0411 238-427 before 9:30am.
• If you have to cancel, please contact the organiser as soon as possible. If you fail to turn up or give notice, you will be banned from registering in future events.

FUN STUFF

• Our special guests this year are Matt Weaver and Brogan Clark from Australian White Dwarf.
• On Saturday night, stick around for the famous Arcanacon barbie, followed by open gaming.
• There will be trade stands on both days.
• If you have stuff to sell, bring it along for Secondhand Sunday.
• There is a Space Hulk competition on Monday 25 January - see separate blurb.
• Visitors are welcome - a $2 entry fee applies.
