The Arcanacard

What is it?

In 2002, Arcanacon introduced a new initiative - for the first time, people who attend the convention will be eligible for ongoing discounts and incentives, not just during the con- vention, but for the full year.

Can I get one?

To be eligible to receive an Arcanacard, you must pre-register to attend the convention for at least nine sessions - whether as a Get Wrecked player or as a fulltime GM. People who register as helpers can also count those sessions towards the 9 necessary sessions, as can part time GMs.

There are no other requirements. You can even register online and pay on the day: the card will be waiting for you at the registration desk.

What are the benefits?

• City Mind Games has generously offered a 10% discount on all roleplaying material which is not already discounted. There are also double discount days through the year.
• Café Krifi, which was the after-convention venue for the last 3 years, offers a 10% discount per bill for Arcanacon holders.
• Of Science & Swords, a Sci-Fi Book shop located at Shop 11, 250 Elizabeth St The Strand Arcade, Melbourne, is offering Arcanacard holders a $10 gift voucher for every $50 they spend in the store per single purchase, per person.

To announce new benefits, we will send out an electronic newsletter (or a snail mail one if you don't have/wish to use email) and we will also be using the website.
