First of all, online rego was closed for a couple of days so that we can grab all the info and print out the stuff we need. However, its open in a read-only sort of way at the moment, so if you need to check your entry, or see who's in your game, you can.
Unfortunately, Murder by [Deleted for Security Reasons] has had to be withdrawn due to health difficulties. Look for it at a con to come.
The First Dance: Death has also had to be reduced in sessions - due to work commitments, the writer is unable to offer their game in sessions A,B, E, F, I and J.
Unfortunately, My Heart is Like a Broken Cup has had to be withdrawn from this year's convention by the writer.
Unfortunately, due to heavy commitments, Interesting Times has had to be withdrawn from this year's convention. Look for it at another roleplaying event soon.
Telstra seem to having some issues with the router that arcanacon.org is connected to, and we're getting short periods of no connectivity. Sorry to anyone that is trying to get to the site...
*phew* While a serious bug, it was relatively easy to fix up, and no loss of data. Continue as you were, citizen.
Unfortunately we missed the "just one more bug", and the online rego has had to be turned off briefly until we resolve it. Sorry for the inconvenience, and we hope to have it back by tonight.

Just a couple more days, and we will have all the games and rego online....
We have all the events, now it just remains to get them all in order and put them into the convention timetable. Look for Con pamphletts at your favourite gaming store, or online for all the details about Arcanacon 2005.
Ok boys and girls - we're now at a point when we want to know about your blurb. Blurb submissions need to be in by the 30th of September - that's right after UniCon.

Some keen eyed people have noticed that the Australia Day holiday is actually on a Wednesday in 2005. Because of this, and because of some of the venue's commitments, Arcanacon will be held from Thursday 20th of January until Sunday 23rd of January.
Effectively, it means that the format of the convention returns to its old winter layout. The Con doors will open on Thursday at 2pm, and we'll run from then, through Friday, Saturday and Sunday, until prizegiving at 7pm.
Although this means we miss out on the bonus public holiday, hopefully with enough warning, folks can maybe organise a day of annual leave for the Friday :-) . In any case, there are still two packed days of gaming on the Saturday and Sunday, so there's no excuse to not come along.
