Arcanacon benefits each year from the generous contributions from our Sponsors. Some Sponsors have helped the Convention for years, others are recent, but all of them have contributed to the wellbeing of the convention in 2005 in some fashion.
In no particular order, this year's event sponsors are...
Mind Games, as well as being the generous sponsor of the Arcanacard, are providing direct sponsorship for The Flames of War.
Chaosium have sponsored many an Arcanacon, from scenarios of Cthulhu to Nephilim. This year they are providing prizes for The Blue Angel.
Dread Liam and his CheapAss Demos (of Doom) have been a constant feature at conventions around Melbourne since 1997, but this year CheapAss Games are also sponsoring Spy Wars, an on-going game throughout the Saturday of the con.
The Australian Chapter of the Camarilla support all things White Wolf, and this year they are providing sponsorship for Adeus a Carne
The Northern Suburbs Games Association (NSGA) is a miniatures and board gaming club located in Melbourne, Australia. The NSGA has been meeting in various places in the Northcote/Thornbury area since the late 1970s. This year, they are co-sponsoring the Flames of War.
The League of Ancients is an organisation for members who enjoy historical wargaming with miniatures. A variety of games covering the ancients and medieval periods, the wars of the rennaisance, Napoleonics and World War II are usually on offer. This year they are also co-sponsoring the Flames of War.
The RPGA is the roleplaying arm of organized play at Wizards of the Coast dedicated to providing play opportunities and support for Dungeons & Dragons and other d20 System games. They provide the games and sponsorship for the 'Living' Campaign events at Arcanacon.
Screening a fabulous selection of Asian cinema, the Chinatown Cinema is at 200 Bourke Street, Melbourne. They generously provide support for Snow and Thunder.
Co-sponsors of the immensely popular WarHammer 40K tournament, as well as the evening entertainment of Imperial Front, Games Workshop are a long-time sponsor of conventions all around Australia.
The Hobby Phase are a newcomer to the Arcanacon Sponsor list, and this year are supporting sponsors for WarHammer 40K.
In the grim darkness of suburban Melbourne there is only war! A private 40K league, WATT, is a cosponsor for Imperial Front
Of course, sponsors are only part of the community of support that Arcanacon is based on - we would also like to thank our supporters and the other Conventions that help advertise and promote Arcanacon.
