This event is part of Games Workshop's
new National Tournament System.
TOURNAMENT RULES
- 4th edition Warhammer 40,000 rules, plus all Codices and Chapter Approved rules variations (except where exempted below).
- 1,200 point armies. Please bring two copies of your army list.
- All miniatures MUST BE PAINTED. No excuses.
- The following may be taken: Allies as specified in Codex Daemonhunters, Codex Witch Hunters & Codex Eye of Terror; Minor Psychic Powers; Vehicles from Imperial Armour (no superheavies); Stealer Cult armies (from Journal); Chapter Approved Recommended rules. Drop Pods may be taken but MUST be modelled.
- The following may NOT be taken: special characters; Monstrous allies from Chapter Approved: Creature Feature (WD292); Tyranid Seeding Swarms; Tyranid Mycetic Spores; Vehicle Design Rules; Chapter Approved Optional or Trial rules.
- Players will fight SIX battles each of 3 hours duration, at 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm each day on SATURDAY 22 JANUARY and SUNDAY 23 JANUARY. Please arrive at 9:00am on the Saturday for registration and briefing.
- Players will receive points for each battle for Generalship and Sportsmanship, and will receive an overall mark for Army Painting and Army Selection. Full judging criteria will be available on the website below.
- If you can supply terrain for one or more 6x4 tables, please contact us. There will be a Best Table prize (player vote) and a Random Table prize (raffle draw).
COMBAT PATROL
Each round, players who finish their battles early can take part in Combat Patrol missions. Bring along a painted 400pt force in accordance with the rules on p.182 of 4th Edition. The highest ranked Combat Patrol player will be awarded a prize.
FUN STUFF
- There will be specialty trade stands from The Hobby Phase (www.thehobbyphase.com.au) and Quality Wargame Supplies.
- On Saturday night, stick around for open gaming, Imperial Front II and the famous Arcanacon barbie.
- If you have stuff to sell, bring it along for Secondhand Sunday.
