How do I...

...Register for this Convention?

1. Make an AON membership.

You can signup for an AON membership for free. You need to make a username, and put in your basic details, like name and address.

If you already have an AON membership, login and skip to the next step.

1. Choose a username and provide a password and email address
2. Click 'signup'
3. Enter in your details.
4. Click 'save'

An AON membership is not a registration for a particular convention - it's more a meta-level registration that lets you register for any one of a number of conventions from the same username. To signup for this Con, you need to follow the rest of these steps.

2. Click on the 'ConRego' menu button

When you have created a membership, or logged into AON with your membership, you will see a group of new menu options. One of these options will be 'ConRego'.

Clicking this button will take you to a page that explains how to register for this particular convention. As well as the explanation, you will be offered a link to let you sign up for the current convention.

1. Click on "ConRego"
2. Read the information
3. Click on "Click here"
4. Your details should be copied into the form - click "save"

You are now registered for the convention.... but read on.

3. Signing up for events

Although you are now registered for the convention, you are not signed up for particular events. For the next step, you need to decide whether you are primarily a player, or primarily a gm, but you can always add extra games in as a player or extra gming commitments later. To repeat - you can always come back later and adjust your entry .

1. IF YOU ARE A PLAYER
1. Read the information presented
2. If you want to pick one of the Quick Pick games
1. Click the appropriate event
2. Done! - you will be presented with your current timetable
3. If you want to pick and choose the events you join
1. Click on "Sign up for games"
2. Choose which game you want to play in the sessions you want to play them.
3. Click "continue"
4. Enter in your team details - join as individual, make up a new team, or join an existing team of friends.
5. Click "save"
6. Done! - you will be presented with your current timetable
2. IF YOU ARE A GM
1. Click on "Quick-reg for GMing"
2. Choose which games you will be gming in each session
3. Click "save"
4. Done! - you will be returned to the GM Timetable
4. Done!

You should now be signed up not just for AON, but also for the current convention. For future conventions, you will be able to just login with your AON membership and skip to the 'ConRego' part of the instructions.

5. Changes

Up to a couple of days before the start of the convention, you can log back in to make changes to your entry.

1. Login with your AON details
2. Click on the 'ConRego' menu option
3. Select your entry - it will look something like
   65: Andrew Roleplayer
4. Once you have clicked on that entry, you will now see a menu at the top of the page that lets you access and edit your details, entry and team information.

You can always contact the organisers for help if you get stuck, but it might help to make sure that you've read the information on AON first to see if we've already answered your question.
