How do I......submit a blurb? Its recommended you print this page or open it in another browser, and have it handy as you follow the process.
If you already have an AON membership, login and skip to the next step. You can signup for an AON membership for free. You need to make a username, and put in your basic details, like name and address. An AON membership is not a registration for a particular convention - it's more a meta-level registration that lets you register for any one of a number of conventions from the same username. To signup for this Con, you need to follow the rest of these steps. When you have created a membership, or logged into AON with your membership, you will see a group of new menu options. One of these options will be 'ConRego'. Clicking this button will take you to a page that explains how to register for this particular convention. As well as the explanation, you will be offered a link to let you sign up for the current convention. You have to be a registrant to this Convention before you can submit a blurb. You are now registered for the convention.... but read on. You should now see a page that includes options to "Sign up for games", "Submit a Blurb" or "Quick-reg for GMing". Other QuestionsChanges You can keep editing your blurb, adding or tweaking your information until you are ready to submit it. You can even come back a couple of days later and keep modifying the blurb.
Ready! Once you are happy with the blurb and the associated details, set the status at the very bottom of the form to "Ready to be checked". This will flag the blurb to the conorgs - they will check it out, and either approve it, or send it back to be edited. In either case, you will be emailed a message explaining the situation. More than one? If you have multiple events to run, you can click "add a blurb" to add a new blurb. When you've entered it in, both blurbs will appear when you click on "show blurbs". Confused You can always contact the organisers for help if you get stuck, but it might help to make sure that you've read the information on AON first to see if we've already answered your question. |
