Frequently Asked QuestionsGeneral AON Questions
AON is an online convention membership system. It lets people signup to be members of the convention - not just a registration for a single year's worth of events, but a persistent username and membership to the convention for as many years as you would like to remain. There are a whole load of reasons - Registering for a particular convention is one of the things you can do as an AON member. See ConRego. Its still fairly simple - you have to create a membership, but once you've put in your details, you can click on Con Rego and sign up for the convention. Next year, your membership will still exists, and you can sign up for that convention too. You don't have to make a membership for each of them - you can make one membership and register multiple people without any stress. To start off, you need to choose a username and then enter your email address and a password. You need to accept a single cookie to login. A username can only contain numbers or letters, and must be 2+ characters long. Sorry, we can't do anything about that - first in, best dressed. You can get a new one set up and sent to yourself as long as you remember your username - we'll mail it out to the address in your membership. Click here to do that. No, we don't store your password in a way that lets us do that. There are two menus within AON. The main menu has 5 options - Details, Messages, Directory, ConRego and Help. These menu items appear as tabs near the top of the page, and the active menu item is coloured blue. The secondary menu appears just underneath the main menu. This menu is the same colour as the active main menu item, and changes depending on which main menu item is active: |
