The blood on your hands stains through the years, summoning ghosts of friends long lost. The touch of steel on your flesh and the tightening of rubber on your arm chases the demons from your life, and releases the nightmares from your dreams. The warm embrace of the liquid that trickles down your throat summons the love long lost, and deadens you to the pain of your battered life. The feeling of another man's life in your hands sends a shot of adrenaline through your body, sating the revenge you desperately seek for one more day.
The nightmares that mankind creates for itself builds a world of violence and hatred, paving the way for insanity and nightmares. Darkness awaits those that slip through the cracks of this world, and into the next.
"Love Lies Bleeding" is the result of the Arcanacon Writer's Challenge 2007. This game is to contain a tale of a dysfunctional family of assassins set within the universe of the Lovecraft's Mythos. This is a Call of Cthulhu game for 4 players not for the feint of heart, sick of stomach or those easily offended.
