Der Goldene Stern
"Tears for a lost world,
Lost loves and
Our mortal coils."
A Love Long Lost, Ronald Archerson
Twelve years after the Second World War, the world around us has changed. The bombing of London by the V-4 rockets sparked genocidal reactions from the Allied camp; the Axis could do nothing but quake as Berlin fell and was forever hidden from the sun by the ashen clouds of thousands of burning innocents.
Twelve years of Xenophobic reactions to the Allied atrocities led the shattered nations of Europe to either shut their borders, or fight across them. Philosophers called it the beginning of the next Dark Age of man. Machines all across the world began to fail inexplicably, the laws physics seemed to be changing; people looked back into their pasts and saw better times, embracing the old ways of man and shunning the promises of the future.
Twelve years later, the world is a different place.
On November 12, 1956, the armoured air blimp "Der Goldene Stern" drifted lazy into London, docking at Heathrow Airport. A small contingent of visitors from all across the world prepared to see London for the first time in over a decade. A dinner party was set for the travellers, but secrets long buried in lost nations would change the world again…
This is a single session freeform for 18 to 22 guests of the airship 'Der Goldene Stern'.
Costuming is appropriate, in any mixed and varied European styles from 1920s to 1940s.
