XXV

By Richard Canning & Sara Hanson

The Roman Empire stretches the length and breadth of the known world. The sons of Gods, the Emperors themselves, ascend to Godhood upon their death.

And so it is the Emperor Antonivs has this day reached this lofty ideal.

Feasts and festivals originally meant to celebrate the 25th birthdays of Antonivs' twin daughters will now mourn his passing and celebrate his transition into Godhood.

The Imperial Family and selected members of the Senate gather to show their respects. But they ask themselves, who will be the next Emperor? For there was no clear line of succession.
