Arcanacon XXII - signing up for stuff!

Staying in contact during the year...

Arcanacon runs a small number of announce email addresses. They are basically used to let people know of significant events during the year - looking for writers, booklet or website is up and running, and so on.

If you are interested in being on the announce mailing list, you can sign up by simply going to http://www.arcanacon.org/mailman/listinfo/arc-announce and filling in the details underneath "Subscribing to arc-announce" and clicking on 'Subscribe'. A list admin will confirm your subscription shortly after that, and you're done.

Arcanacard Members

If you were a pre-registered Get Wrecked player or a writer in 2004, then you should have received an Arcanacard. A loverly shade of green for this year, they entitle you to a number of standard discounts and benefits over the year. But wait, there's more. During the year, the Arcanacard sponsors will have even better short-term deals for card holders. So, if you have an arc-card and you want to know about the deals, let us know.

Thinking of writing?

SUCKER! .... wait, we mean 'congratulations, what an excellent idea'.

Anyone is able to write for Arcanacon - there is no secret club, or invites sent out to particular roleplayers. All you need is an idea, a blurb, the urge to spend hours in front of a computer writing up your ideas, some playtesters, some friends to help you run it, the Con weekend free and enough energy to run your game for 39 hours over the Con. Easy!

If you're considering writing for Arcanacon XXIII, then let us know now - this isn't a firm commitment, its just letting us know so that we the appropriate dates come by (for writing blurbs and so on), we can let you know. If you have a vague idea what you might want to run as your event, then it also lets the organisers know what sorts of events we'll be looking at, and what gaps we might need to fill.

Privacy

We do not give out your details to anyone. They are kept by the Arcanacon organisers as an aid to contacting players and writers during the year, and we will remove them on your request.
