2003 is the 21st Arcanacon, and we're throwing Syd a party. Ever since Arcanacon '84, the Arcanasaur has been a patron of the Convention. On numerous occasions, Syd has even deigned to grace us with his physical presence in the form of a huge fibreglass version of him which people could climb inside.

So come along and join in the festivities celebrating Arcanacon's 21st birthday.

In recognition of this most auspicious and special year, the theme for Arcanacon XXI is....

'Anniversaries, Birthdays and Celebrations'

Games that are part of the theme for 2003 are those which have a connection to Time, and to the marking of its passage.

Birthdays, festivals, coronations, seasons, anniversaries, prophecies, harvests, inaugurations and celebrations are the sorts of special events which are all part of this year's theme.

While this year's theme may appear to be more ephemeral than previous years, we think that the talented pool of writers out there have risen to the challenge.

So grab your best party frock and your favourite game system, prepare your stomach for fairy bread and camel rides, and come help us celebrate this milestone in the life of Arcanacon.
