Water is life. When the water runs out, communities start to die.
When the river stopped flowing suddenly, the inhabitants of Edenvale looked for a solution.
A marvel of engineering, the aquaduct was surveyed and constructed with the help of the dwarves. By the time it was completed, the coffers of Edenvale were as dry as the old riverbed, but the town believed the aquaduct would restore their fortunes and return life to the community.
Today Edenvale gathered to celebrate the long awaited first life giving stream, but as the sun marched across the sky, the water did not come.
