Crusaders, Inquisitions, Invasions, Missionaries, Jihads;
Religious wars are common-place events in our history. In ancient Briton they were battles of Honour with the common born armies and footmen riding at the beck and call of their local lord. Religion always held sway with the kings and nobility, despite claiming to be neutral. As societies changed and developed, their requirements in their belief system changed as well with religions rising and falling in the people's favour. This always led to war as religious fervour laid claim to many a berserker. In the legends, there were always a select few in a position to swing the battle either way...
This is the story of such a time, the slow dwindling death of one religion and the rise of another. A few souls locked to each other and to the destiny of their culture. As they try to unweave the tapestry of their associations, they will hold the past, future and present in the palm of their hands.
3 Sessions for 8 players ( or 2 groups of 4 ) set in a world inhabited by people not unlike the Celts and Britons in a world not unlike ours. Using the Legend of the Five Rings system, but obviously not the setting.
