0321, 29th June, 2001 - USAF pilot Captain Charles Hughes reported a visual sighting of a "unidentified flying wedge, about 20 yards long".
The object's flight path took it through a military restricted zone and Captain Hughes was given permission to shoot it down. Several missiles impacted the object, smoke and debris were emitted and the object's course changed. The object splashed into the ocean just outside of San Francisco bay.
Eyewitnesses saw several humanoid shapes in "funny silver suits" drag themselves on to the shore after the crash landing who were met by men in dark suits.
Several hours after the incident, the US Government released a press statement saying that the object was a test aircraft out of White Sands (definitely not an alien spacecraft). They also said that the people recovered from the Bay were US Air Force test pilots and definitely not the alien crew of a downed spacecraft.
