Earth.
It hangs there in space like a blight on the universe, a festering
greenish brown orb, the surface of which seems to seethe and writhe
as though it were covered with a vast malignant growth. The last of
the bright flashes of nuclear fire are long gone - a pitiful attempt
from the remaining inhabitants to revenge themselves on the aquatic
aliens that rose from the seas. Their blasphemous gods the doom of
the bickering, warring remnants of humanity. The final nail in
mankind's coffin.
And so we fled...
Mars.

the profanity that hangs in the sky. The once spacious research
facility is crammed full of what remains of humanity. Hoping to
warm the atmosphere and introduce enough water to enable plant
life to grow, an outpost in the asteroid belt flings a steady
stream of rocks at the far side of the planet. Or at least it did.
The rocks have stopped coming, and you have been sent to find out why...
