No Rest for Cheapass Games!
a special demonstration event orchestrated by Liam Routt
and presented in association with Cheapass Games
Arcanacon will once again play host
to a demonstration table with a
selection of Cheapass Games.
Last year a different game was featured
for lunch on each of three con
days, but this year the Cheapass Team will be
on hand for most of the day on Saturday instead, with a variety of new
and not so new games.
The longer stretch of time should allow
longer games to be attempted,
and a selection of games to be running in
parallel.
You can expect to see whatever new
games Cheapass has released, as well
as Brawl (with the new Club Foglio decks) and Button Men (with the new
Fantasy sets, and perhaps other special Gen Con and other promotional
buttons), the new Great Brain Robbery game, and much much more!
Set aside some time, or wander over
between sessions.
What is Cheapass
Games?
For those who are not aware, Cheapass
Games make a range of clever games
that don't cost all that much. They tend to eschew such things as pieces
and dice and mounted playing boards, assuming that you can provide such
items. Their catalogue is full of odd little (and not so little) games,
and you are bound to find at a number that tickle your fancy. Most of
them have a simple set of basic rules and a suprising depth of play.
Minutes to learn, a lifetime to master...
